St. Moritz is a high Alpine resort town in the Upper Engadine, in the Swiss canton of the Grisons, at about 1,800 m. It hosted the Winter Olympic Games twice, in 1928 and in 1948.
The town lies below Piz Nair (3,056 m), with a funicular up to Corviglia. Across the valley, Piz Corvatsch reaches 3,300 m.
